Buffalo Bills News
No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills. This organization is also known for finding a way to make things happen. Just look at this off season as they were able to acquire great talent. The challenge was answered by including Jordan Phillips, Shaq Lawson, Von Miller, Roger Saffold, and many others to the mafia that is money on cashing in at this element of Football. There has been reports that Von Miller is now trying to bring Joe Haden into the fold. Joe Haden is a top 15 corner in the NFL who has excelled in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh organizations. He is a cornerback who can definitely thrive from in the Bills organization and tag teaming with Tre White wouldn’t be so bad now would it? The NFL draft is expected to start next week and everyone wants to know what will the bills do with pick number 25 in the first round. The Buffalo Bills biggest needs currently are on the offensive line, in the running game and obviously at the cornerback position. The other big question is could the bills trade up or even trade the pick? I can tell you from what I know is that it is super hard to pick the brain of “Big Baller” Brandon Beane as my radio mentor Muki Hawkins would say. I guess we all will find out next week. Buffalo Sabres News
This season for the Buffalo Sabres season has been like watching “The Jeffersons” as they move on up to the east side. It has been like making the perfect chicken dinner with all your favorite sides but missing the perfect beverage to drink with it or the perfect dessert to compliment the meal. It’s missing the type of dessert that you’re not going to find top shelf where Mama hides the cookies. Thank you Rick!!!! It’s the type of dessert or beverage that the organization has to figure out to get this young exciting team to the playoffs and beyond. Don Granato, the head coach of the Sabres has had some great moments such as beating the Vegas Golden Knights with Jack Eichel being on the ice. The team also played phenomenal under his leadership during RJ Night, where Rick Jeanneret was honored for his 51 years of service. Don has also had some dark moments. Moments that include yours truly offering Don questions about the Sabres first period woes in the beginning of the season. But overall, this season has definitely been about development and growth. Hopefully the Buffalo Sabres will make the right choices in the offseason and take note to what the Buffalo Bills have been doing in the off season. If I was Kevin Adams, I would keep the core group of players that have produced heavily this season and in addition find a legitimate top 10 goaltender, and some speedy defenseman who can score. The Sabres last three remaining games are against the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon, the Boston Bruins next Thursday in Boston, and the home season finale will be against the Chicago Blackhawks Friday April 29th.
Buffalo Bisons News
Hot diggity dog!!!!!! Sahlen Field has opened for business once again as the Buffalo Bisons have kick started their 2022 baseball season. The Buffalo Bisons opened up the season with a homestand against the Iowa Cubs in which we were witness to the Bisons winning four out of six games in that home stand. The good news is that the Bisons were able to win four out of six games. The bad news is the Bisons only scored 20 runs in those six games. In four out of the six games played the Bisons scored three runs or less. The good news is the Bisons won three out of those four games. The Bisons then went on a road trip to Rochester in which the Bisons split three out of the six games. The Bisons scored 10 runs in two of those games but split in the win-loss column. Now the Bisons are back on another home stand against Scranton Wilkes-Barre and the great news is they have won all three games so far. The doubleheader on 420 day saw the Bisons victorious 2-1 and 6-5. The Bisons would also be victorious yesterday as well winning by a score of 7-3. Their offense has been carried so far by Cullen Large, Vinny Capra, and Logan Warmth. The Bisons currently have six players with more than 10 hits so far this season. They’re pitching looks good but they’re standout picture is Casey Lawrence who has won all three games, he has started and has an era of 1.59. The Bisons currently hold a 10 and 5 record which is the best record in the East. Will the Bisons continue their winning ways? For more Bisons news, you know where to go…thechallengernews.com
WWE Monday Night Raw
Last Monday Night at KeyBank Center, WWE’s Monday Night Raw was live for the thousands….and thousands in attendance. The show was kickstarted by The Architect Seth Freaking Rollins. Seth Rollins started off the show by introducing us to someone who hadn’t been in a WWE ring for 6 years prior to his return and that man was none other than the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. These two wrestling superstars pretty much owned the show as Kevin Owens was involved in the main event match against Cody Rhodes. The overall event was an average event. I’m sure I speak for the wrestling fans in Buffalo when I say we would have loved to have seen the Usos, Edge, and Roman Reigns at the event. It was also very disappointing to see Finn Balor lose the United States championship belt to Austin Theory. Hopefully when Smackdown comes to Buffalo we will finally get to see who everyone has been waiting to see since last December and that is the Tribal Chief…the Head of the Table Roman Reigns. The City of Buffalo is definitely a place that treasures wrestling and like the Street Prophets would say “we want all the smoke” when it comes to having the best wrestlers here for WWE events. Can’t wait to see when the next event will be.
