Buffalo Bills News

First and 10 at the Chiefs 19….there’s 23 seconds left to go….. the Chiefs trying to hold a four-point lead. Buffalo is looking for the AFC Championship game to go through Highmark Stadium. The snap…. Josh Allen back to pass…. he sets….fires….touchdown Gabriel Davis. 13 seconds left…. Bills Mafia!!!!!! Can you dig it? And in 13 seconds it was all a dream. The next set of events would shock even Chiefs fans as The Bills would give up 45 yards in 10 seconds on two plays and gift wrap the opportunity for the Chiefs to tie the ballgame at 36 a piece.

With three seconds to go Harrison Butker would silence the Bills with a 49-yard field goal that would send this instant classic of a game into overtime. The referees introduced overtime “Buffalo, you are the visiting team what’s the call heads or tails” Josh Allen would call tails and the rest would have the Bills Mafia faithful heart broken and asking questions on what the future holds for this team as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs would escape with a 42-36 overtime victory in Arrowhead Stadium.

A 7 yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce would seal the deal for the Chiefs. This game truly was an instant classic that just went the wrong way for the Buffalo Faithful. A lot of questions loom large as some sports fanatics are still in shock. Should the overtime rules be changed? Why didn’t the Bills swift kick the ball with 13 seconds left instead of kicking the ball out of the end zone which essentially gave the Chiefs an extra play to try and capitalize from? Why were the Bills playing prevent defense when they had the #1 total defense in the league? If there is one thing that Buffalo has to get better at going forward its definitely developing good decision making skills in critical situations.

The Buffalo Bills organization needs to take a deep look into their future endeavors as it is expected that the Bills will most likely lose their offense and defensive coordinators to head coaching positions that are open for the taking. Last Sunday night, we experienced the gift that keeps on giving.

Divisional Round Scores

San Francisco 49ers 13 Green Bay Packers 10

Los Angeles Rams 30 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27

Cincinnati Bengals 19 Tennessee Titans 16

The off-season will be a very interesting time for some NFL organizations. Some of the questions that linger will be….. Will this be Tom Brady’s last game? Will this be Aaron Rodgers last game as a Green Bay Packer? Will the Tennessee Titans have to make a move at the quarterback position?

Buffalo Sabres News

The Buffalo Sabres found its stride on the fly against the Philadelphia Flyers last Saturday afternoon with the 6-3 victory. The victory would hand the Philadelphia Flyers their 11th straight loss. Peyton Krebs would score his first NHL points with two goals. Tage Thompson would also score two goals and Jeff Skinner would follow with two of his own as well.

The Sabres will look to continue building on their winning ways as they will pay a visit to the Ottawa Senators and then roam through their four game road trip with games against Arizona, Colorado and the Vegas Golden Knights.
