Bills Beat the Patriots 47-17 Now It’s On to the Chiefs: Prediction – The Bills Will Win!

The Bills came out on fire and the offensive line continued to blow the Patriots off the  line of scrimmage running New England out of Orchard Park with a 47-17 win last week.  The defensive play of the year so far was made by Micah Hyde’s  over the shoulder interception in the end zone early in  the 1st quarter.   It reminded me of baseball’s Willie Mays Classic catch in the MLB playoffs.

The Bills abused the Patriots defense the entire first half  – making plays and getting key turnovers as the Patriots QB Mac Jones did not get any support from his mediocre receivers. New England  had way too many dropped passes and no one stood up for them. The Bills had several players standing up on both sides of the ball. Devin Singletary showed  everyone what he  could  do once you commit to running the football. Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll   and Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier called their best games of the season. The execution on both sides of the ball was consistent for the entire game. It’s very difficult for any team to keep the pedal to the metal for an entire game, but The Buffalo Bills on a cold wintery night in Orchard Park did just that.

New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick:,“I said, we couldn’t keep up with them tonight, and we couldn’t.” That’s correct. The  Bills total domination of a Bill Belichick coached team was PRICELESS . It came at perfect timing for our assistant coaches, who both are interviewing for Head Coaching positions in the NFL. We wish Brain Daboll and Leslie Frazier all the best in landing a Head Coaching position.

Hopefully OC Brian Daboll will have more sets and  movements designed for a very tough Kansas City Chiefs game coming up this Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. I still feel Matt Breida, along with Isaiah McKenzie and Devin Singletary,  will present more problems to opposing defenses.

The veteran players on the Bills roster are stepping up with Stefon Diggs not only making plays but giving encouragement on the sidelines. Josh Allen is starting to calm down during games and using Isaiah McKenzie, Devin Singletary, and Matt Breida will open up plays down field.  Bills tight End Dawson Knox is turning into a top player before our eyes. His first touchdown catching the back tip of the football was amazing and shows the dedication and hard work he has put into becoming a quality receiver.   The Chief’s defense is playing much better and the Bills intermediate passing game will be a key to victory. Josh Allen continues to take what the defense gives him, and hopefully OC Brian Daboll will throw the entire offensive playbook at a Chiefs defense and secondary that can be beaten.

PREDICTION: I think this game against Chiefs will be first time the Bills secondary will truly miss Tre Davious White not being on the field. This will be the most entertaining game of upcoming weekend and I see the Bills playing with determination for a full 60 minutes and defeating two-time AFC Champions 35 – 31.  So, get ready to enjoy a primetime offensive showdown!
