Bills Give Payback to Patriots with 33 – 21 Win

Despite a COVID – 19 outbreaks within the Buffalo Bills team worked hard with a make shift offensive line and the best game as a pro football player by Josh Allen added up to a win. Josh Allen finally took what the defense gave him and allowed the game to come to him; The Bills have plenty of productive players like Isaiah McKenzie, and Reggie Gilliam are guys that should have been involved in the offense sooner.

Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll must have more motion, and using our complete roster of talent in order to win games down the road. Bills must run the ball more often allowing Josh Allen opportunities for play action passes along with taking what the defense gives them. Keep in mind Bills were the better team and must continue to play like it. They can’t play scared and must force their will on to their opponents.

The star of the game Isaiah McKenzie said, “Whatever I got to do to help The Team win”. “I did whatever I needed to do to get back on the field”. This was after Isaiah McKenzie was benched for fumbling a kickoff during a beat down by Indianapolis Colts. Bills offensive linemen Dion Dawkins said after dealing with COVID, “I’m feeling better and felt good playing today.” Bills defense continues to bend but not break type unit with Harrison Phillips playing his best football as a Bill; A pass rush is still needed and all out-gambling blitzing type defensive scheme worked against the Patriots. Bills secondary is so good they are able to get away with filling all gaps in order to stop the run.

Bills secondary has not been under pressure but have been able to make tackles on critical situations.  Jordan Poyer said, “we had a bad taste in our mouth after last meeting with Patriots; It was great to see our offense move the ball and forced Patriots into throwing the football and turnovers finally happened”. “We want to create second and long and force them into making mistakes”, said Micah Hyde. Bills defensive tackle Harrison Phillips said, “Playing full team defense takes all eleven guys to stop the run and that was the key to our win”.

Bills must win last two games in order to repeat as AFC East Division Champions. Bills can’t sleep on Atlanta Falcons, who are a good football team with plenty of offensive weapons; The Falcons QB Matt Ryan can be dangerous if allowed to have time to make throws and rookie tight end sensation Kyle Pitts, receiver Calvin Ridley and running back Cordarrelle Patterson.

The Falcons number one draft pick from 2020 is AJ Terrell, Jr. his father AJ Terrell Sr. is from Rochester, NY area and was All- Greater Rochester selection at running back for Edison Tech in 1993. I see Bills beating a tough Falcon defensive front 31 – 20 in what could be a very entertaining football game.
