Buffalo Bills News

The Buffalo Bills organization and Bills Mafia had two weeks to ponder on the heartbreaking loss in Tennessee on Sunday Night Football as the Titans defeated the Buffalo Bills 34-31. Offense and defensive play-calling would be the Bills demise in the fourth quarter. Now that we got the recap out of the way, the Bills on Sunday would walk into Highmark Stadium ready to squish the fish as the Dolphins came into town. But were the Bills really ready to squish the fish as the first half of football in this game was quite dismal.

The Buffalo Bills offense look like the Buffalo Bills offense in week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers as they struggled to put points on the board. It’s a good thing that they were playing the Miami Dolphins who couldn’t capitalize on opportunities that they had in the first half to take a lead into halftime. How many people would have guessed that only six points would have been scored in the first half after the bills had two weeks to prepare for the Dolphins after a heartbreaking loss? I’m sure no one had that thought in mind at all but in the second half the Buffalo Bills did what the Buffalo Bills have done majority of the season which is make pretty good adjustments.

Josh Allen would account for three touchdowns in the game two passing and one on the ground as the Buffalo Bills would go on to defeat the Miami Dolphins for the 6th straight time 26-11. Cole Beasley was a shining star in this one as he had 11 catches for 110 yards. Some social media outlets had Cole Beasley as a player who could have been traded before the deadline. The defense was stellar as usual as Star Lotulelei and Ed Oliver had their best games of the season. Will the Bills continue to build off this past weeks win over the Dolphins?

UB Bulls Football News

Well they’re hot then they’re cold there yesterday they’re know there and then they’re out there up then they’re down they’re wrong then they’re right…… in the words of Katy Perry this is a summary of what the UB Bulls football has been. Let’s all be mindful that this is Maurice Linguist’s first season as the a head coach. There will be some good times and some hard times as the Bulls took it on the chin this past Saturday in a 56-44 loss to Bowling Green. Dylan McDuffie was a shining star in the loss as he rushed for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Matt Myers also stepped in for Kyle Vantrease and ran for two touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass but the defense did nothing to help this high-powered offense. The Bulls were a 13.5 point favorite but look like the team tried to catch up the whole game as Matt McDonald threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns. UB will go back to the drawing board to see if they can even their season out as they play Miami of Ohio on Tuesday. Can the UB Bulls get back to winning ways?

Buffalo Sabres Hockey

The Buffalo Sabres look very impressive as they drowned the Anaheim Mighty Ducks 4 to 3 in overtime last Thursday. Rasmus Asplund was a force as the 23 year-old from Sweden scored two goals in the win. Victor Olofsson also scored. Rasmus, Victor and Tage Thompson have accounted for almost half of the Sabres goals this season as they have collectively scored 11 goals out of the 24.

On Halloween things became a little scary as the Sabres blue a 2-1 lead and ended up losing 3-2 to the LA Kings. Rasmus Asplund and Victor Olofsson would score yet again in this game. But the Sabres would give up two third-period goals as the Slovene veteran Anže Kopitar would light the lamp.

Alex Lafallo, the buffalo native would cap off the rally with the game winner. The Sabres will face the San Jose Sharks and the Seattle Kraken to finish off their West Coast Road Trip. The Sabres will be back at KeyBank Center on November 6th to face the Detroit Red Wings. The Sabres are currently 5-2-1. Will the Sabres be able to bounce back from the loss in LA?
