Bills Ground the Jets 45-17

The Buffalo Bills seem to have heard my suggestions for Matt Breida to be inserted into the lineup, and to go back to creative play calling like using The Jet Sweep. It’s almost like Mr. Obvious was talking to Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll, who might have fallen asleep at the wheel. There is no explanation for not playing Matt Breida earlier in the season. Breida had only three carries for 28 yards and a touchdown along with catching three passes for 22 yards and a touchdown. Matt Breid
a was a key component for the San Francisco 49ers run to Super Bowl LIV. He’s a veteran player that’s been in big games and his explosiveness has proved a major spark for the 49ers. Breida is a nice compliment to Bills running backs Zack Moss and Devin Singletary.

Bills offensive line seems more effective with Darryl Williams moving over to guard position and Spencer Brown playing as a tackle. They are sounder and more come off the ball with authority especially in the running game.

The jet and power sweep to Isaiah McKenzie and Matt Breida respectively ran successful touchdowns behind the huge guard and tackle. It’s a no brainer that Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll must have a sustained running game the rest of the season in order to allow Josh Allen to have success in the passing game. We have seen over time that Josh Allen cannot carry this football team by himself and needs help with a balanced offense.

The run game will open up passing attack and Bills have a wide variety of receivers to get the job done. The New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh is more of a Defensive Coordinator rather than a up and coming Head Coach. He reminded me of former LA Chargers Head Coach Anthony Lynn by making serious blunders on his clock management skills. He should be given two more years to improve the Jets team unless he continues to make actual Head Coaching errors than next season could be his last as a Head Coach. Bills Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier continues to do an outstanding job with his unit.  DC Frazier should be considered for a Head Coaching job at the end of the season. He should have been hired last season.

AJ Klein had an outstanding game especially his meeting the running backs at the line of scrimmage, and in the backfield. That’s what starting middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds should be doing and HC Sean McDermott and GM Brandon Beane are going to have a hard decision on his future with the team.

It’s amazing to me that Buffalo Bills defense is currently leading the league in various categories while our middle linebacker is not a dominate player on the unit. Edmunds is still pretty young and can continue to grow into a dominate player. DC Leslie Frazier’s unit is much better when often injured Taron Johnson is in the lineup; If Taron can stay healthy and, on the field, he could become an all-pro player with his knack for making the big play and creating turnovers. Bills return to Highmark Stadium to host Indianapolis Colts with physical running back Jonathan Taylor and a very tough offensive and defensive lines. This will be a true test for The Bills.

I see Bills defensive unit causing erratic Colts QB Carson Wentz to throw at least two interceptions allowing Bills to win a tight game 24-21. The Bills head to the Bayou to face New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving Day. This will be a tough turn around and depending on injuries will be difficult especially with the loud noise of Caesar Superdome. I have Bills winning on a Tyler Bass field goal 20 – 17.
