School supply giveaways, activities, food and music at August 13 celebration
Community Access Services (CAS), an affiliate of Evergreen Health and a not-for-profit organization that helps communities of color in Buffalo and Erie Country access healthcare, announced that it will host a back to school Backpack Giveaway event on Friday, August 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 3297 Bailey Avenue.
“Fall is right around the corner and kids will be back in school before we know it, so we’re inviting the community to come together to get ready for the upcoming school year,” said Kimberly Brown, executive director at CAS. “Join us as we give away free backpacks and school supplies, have fun and celebrate our local students returning to school in September!”
