This event screens over 130 at-risk men yearly.

The mission of  Manup Buffalo Inc., a volunteer organization, is to raise prostate cancer awareness.

Black men both get and die from prostate cancer at a higher rate. The reasons are complex and unclear.

Black men are 50% more likely to develop prostate cancer in their lifetime and twice as likely to die from the disease.

Next Week: Fear can prevent men from early prostate cancer detection, but survivor encourages them to MANUP.
