National Association of Human Resources Professionals to Host Virtual Inaugural Buffalo Membership Drive

The National Association of African American Human Resources Professionals (NAAAHR) WNY Rochester will hold its first virtual Inaugural Buffalo Membership Drive on July 28 from noon to 1:30pm.

This Inaugural event will feature a workshop session entitled “To Speak or not to Speak, That is the Question: Addressing Microaggressions” facilitated by Regional Chapter President Talethea Best. Additionally, you will hear from other practitioners in the Buffalo area, learn more about NAAAHR and the mission and all the great benefits of membership to the WNY Rochester chapter. NAAAHR was established in 1998 with over 25,000 members and 29 chapters across the country and serves as a platform to bring HR leaders as well as individuals together.

“We want to engage the entire Buffalo community to have a platform where HR concerns can be discussed, ideas shared and solutions presented. NAAAHR offers such a platform. All Human Resources and DE&I professionals at every level and allies are welcome to attend,” says Thaddues Dunn, Board Co-Chair of Membership and Lead for chapter hub in Buffalo. “We make our events fun so you can expect raffles, games and even an iPad giveaway! HRCI credits are pending as well,” adds Dunn.
