Buffalo Freedom Gardens Continues Celebration of Juneteenth With a Children’s Program !

Buffalo Freedom Gardens is continuing the commemoration of Juneteenth with a children’s program that promotes reading and gardening!

Families are invited to join us on Friday, June 25th from 4-5:30pm in the historic Jesse Clipper Square located on Michigan and William to learn about Juneteenth, play games, plant sunflower seeds, and listen to children books on the significance of the Underground Railroad. Each child will receive free copies of the featured books, child sized gardening tools, organic seeds and seedlings.

It is important that our children know how to plant and understand the history of Juneteenth and the Underground Railroad.

Knowledge is power!
