Jinah Parker, dancer, choreographer, playwright, educator, is the creator of “SHE,” a dance driven production about ending sexual violence, Sandra Bland, and healing.
A special and rare archival performance of “SHE, a Choreoplay will be held on Thursday, April 29th at 7pm EST. A recording of SHE from the production’s sold out HERE Arts Center run in NYC will be live streamed and followed by a live post show discussion with the cast.
This presentation of SHE has been made possible by Buffalo State College 50% of all ticket sales will be donated to The National Domestic Violence Hotline.
“SHE” is not just an artistic piece, but also serves as a forum for community engagement. The work has been created so that the community becomes a part of the healing process.

“SHE” has been recognized as an engaging and effective form of messaging that is needed to elevate awareness about sexual violence and the harm caused. Additionally, “SHE” has received generous support from well-known artists such as Eve Ensler, creator of The Vagina Monologues; actress and best-selling author Gabrielle Union, NBA Hall of Famer Grant Hill; in addition to support from Elle magazine and The National Organization of Women.
