Women Against Violence Everywhere (WAVE Buffalo Inc.), a nonviolence organization that serves the needs of at-risk young women and girls, invites the community to “You Don’t Know My  Story, A  Virtual Empowerment Symposium.”  Women from various backgrounds will share their story of life during a Pandemic and before.

This year’s theme is ” Faith During A Pandemic.” The event  will take place March 6 from 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon via Zoom and Facebook live   by way of Elim Christian Fellowship online streaming.  Register  on Eventbrite, under the event name.  The community is encouraged to attend  virtually and hear stories that will inspire, empower, and uplift during these uncertain times. 

Guest Speakers include Teshiko Payton of Payton’s Place Child Care Center; Farrah Macklin of Farrah Jae’s Beauty Parlor; Carlette Bradley, CEO of the Masterpiece Project; Tamela Richardson, CEO of Life is Art; CTDC, Pastor Mia Richardson; Pastor of Avon Methodist Church Rochester NY; Evette Phillips, founder of WE R BUFFALO STRONG INC.

The event is FREE. However free will donations are accepted and  can  be made to WAVE BUFFALO INC.
