Park Vue Soul Food Bar and Restaurant was featured on “Restaurant Impossible” with Chef Robert Irvine on Discovery February 9th. The family owned and operated restaurant was chosen by the show based off their Google reviews. The goal of the show is with two days and a budget of $10,000, host Robert Irvine and his team renovate a restaurant that is facing challenges with the goal of helping to restore it to profitability and prominence.
During this episode mother/daughter co-owners Harrita West and Schenita Williams show complete transparency, ambition, and hard work as they give their all to make the restaurant a staple in the community. As a result, the restaurant and business was entirely reinvigorated. Congratulations to the owners on their evolving business, achievements and efforts to give back to the community by providing an affordable place to enjoy exquisite soul food.
Park Vue is participating in Black Restaurant Week, now thru February 21. They are located at 34 S. Crossman St. (off Genesee St.) and open for indoor dining, takeout and delivery weekly on Thursday from 4-9p.m., Friday 3-10 p.m.; Saturday 2 -10p.m. and Sunday 2-8p.m.
