Bills Blowout Hapless Broncos 48 – 13 to Clinch AFC East Division Title

Buffalo Bills clinched a division Title in fine fashion by whopping the Denver Broncos on Saturday.

All aspects of the Bills game were running smoothly and Broncos seemed not to care about winning the game. Bills are 11-3 for first time since 1991 and are now looking like a serious Super Bowl contender.

Stefon Diggs has become a dominate receiver with another 10 plus reception game which makes him only the 8th player in NFL history to have three consecutive games with 10 or more receptions. Diggs ended the game with 11 catches for 147 yards.

Josh Allen is having an MVP season and leading the team. I’m waiting to see Allen play under pressure and in critical situations. He must be able to produce under crowd noise and that won’t really happen until next season.

Bills are flooding the field with receivers and  the offensive line has been giving him time to find the open man. Bills Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier continues to dial up the right blitz packages forcing turnovers. He should be considered for a Head Coaching job once the season is over.

Bills defensive back Tre Davis White said,” We practice hard and go over special situations and putting us in those situations;” “Our Coaches continue to put us in position to win and make plays; Everybody on our defense takes the Coaching and nobody tries to do the things that is not their job”. We have a lot of talented guys taking coaching and being prepared each week.”  “We want to stop the run and make a team one dimensional; once that happens its going to be a great day for us.”

Yes, Bills defense is coming into their own at the right time.  They are a cohesive group that continues to bend but not break along with getting key turnovers. Bills defense scored touchdowns in consecutive games for the first time since 2016.

Tre Davis White is elevating his game with a strip sack fumble that was recovered by Jerry Hughes, who pick it up and ran 21 yards for the touchdown.

I would play Bills wide receiver Jake Kumerow instead of Dawson Knox, who already is showing you more reliable hands for catching the football. Kumerow was a “goto guy”  for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rogers last season and Rogers was quite upset that the front office did not resign him.

Bills have a very explosive offense that can make a playoff this season.

Bills travel to New England for Monday Night Football game against Patriots. Patriots QB Cam Newton is playing in the wrong offense for his skill set. Cam is not a touch passer who can drop the ball in a tight window for his receivers. Cam must be allowed to roll out and throw on the run rather than from a set pocket. It’s quite painful to watch him in this system. He should go to another team for next season.

That being said I think Bills will beat New England Patriots 20 – 10.

Bills have too much firepower and Patriots defense can only stop them for so long.
