AVOID THE CROWDS VOTE EARLY! Need Transportation? Vans and Buses Will Be Available for Free Rides to the Polls!

If you want to vote early in Erie County, there are 37 sites where you can cast your ballot!

Transportation is being offered by churches, a community health organization, and a limousine service, to get registered voters to the polls early.

The collaborative consists of the ELIM Christian Fellowship community outreach team, Tabernacle of Praise, 716 Limousine, and GBUAHN, providing vans and buses to transport voters, from designated locations throughout the City of Buffalo, for 7 days and on Nov. 3rd (pickup locations to be announced). Safety guidelines will be observed.

“I was  inspired by the life of John Lewis, who was instrumental in eradicating voter suppression in the 60’s yet that’s exactly what it looks like in 2020,” said  Rev. Lori Harrell of the ELIM Christian Fellowship Community outreach team. “It is my belief, there are many ways to protest, marching, writing, and drawing…mine, became being denied the freedom to have a voice; to vote.

So, we started getting people registered all over the city.  This is our protest; protests lead to policy change and we’re holding our elected officials accountable by voting!”

Registered voters can vote at 37 designated locations beginning October 24th thru November 1st.   If you have not yet registered to vote the deadline is Oct. 9th.

For pickup locations to polls call the ELIM outreach team at 716.245.4452.
