Bills Gearing Up for 2020 NFL Season

WOW! The Buffalo Bills are finally doing things the right way by signing their players to long term contracts.

The Bills signed defensive back Tre Davis White and offensive Dion Dawkins to lucrative extensions. Tre’s contract has a guaranteed 55 million dollars out of a total 70 Million Dollar deal. That’s rather ironic considering the Bills let defensive back Stephon Gilmore leave for New England for less money given White.  That means the Bills have had two of the best cornerbacks in the entire league. It’s about time the Bean Counter, Jim Overdorf,  has been talked into releasing the money by Brandon Beane, Sean McDermott, and Terry & Kim Pegula. The signings have set up the franchise to be in contention for playoffs and the Super Bowl for at least the next five years.

Tre Davis White:   “I want to thank the entire Bills family especially General Manager Brandon Beane, Head Coach Sean McDermott, and owners Terry & Kim Pegula. This money could change a lot of lives by having generational wealth which is important to me. It’s something I can provide for my family and it feels so good!”

I’m so happy to hear football players talk about generational wealth and what it means to our future as a race of people.  The Bills are moving in the right direction and I see them with a 9 -7 record for 2020. The critical player for Buffalo will be Josh Allen and how much he has matured and learned to execute in crunch time. Josh’s  football IQ must improve in order to reach a 9 -7 record. If  Allen’s football IQ does not improve the Bills will finish with a 7 – 9 record. Josh has all the weapons needed on offense with Stefon Diggs joining the wide receivers. Dawson Knox must step up his game. Keep an eye out for former Akron University running back, now transformed into a tight end, Reggie Gilliam. Reggie could become a good blocking and receiving tight end for the Bills late in the 2020 season. The defense is all set and must continue to dominate for the Bills to truly be a key contender in 2020.

The Bills open up on Sunday at Bills Stadium and I see a 24 – 10 win by the Bills. The Jets are not ready for the season and Head Coach Adam Gase continues to upset his key players and most likely will be fired by the end of season. Gase’s hiring was another example of White Privilege in the NFL.
