Buffalo Bills News
The Buffalo Bills will be playing the Miami Dolphins in week 2 at the Hard Rock Stadium. Being at home or on the road has not mattered the last couple years as the Buffalo Bills have won five out of six games dating back to 2017, the last time the Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills was December 2nd, 2018 here at 1 Bills Drive 21-17. The Buffalo Bills are now a more sound team then they were 3 years ago in which the game plan for the Dolphins should be very simple. The Buffalo Bills will need to use a heavy dose Devin Singletary and the running back committee to open up the passing game has the Miami Dolphins will be toting one of the best cornerback duos in Xavier and Howard and Byron Jones. The running game should be able to help get John Brown and Cole Beasley going and with Josh Allen being a scrambling threat, the bills definitely should look to play action to get Stefon Diggs and Dawson Knox involved. The Buffalo Bills defense will definitely be looking to clamp down on Miami’s run attack and the Buffalo Bills should be able to lockdown the Miami Dolphins passing game as the bills will talk one of the best secondaries in all of football with TreDavious White, Josh Norman, Jordan poyer and Micah Hyde as your starting pass defense. The Buffalo Bills will win this game 27-17.

The NBA, NHL and MLB are looking to make strides towards starting their season again as July has been the month highlighted by all three leagues to start some group activities. Slowly but surely we maybe returning to normalcy as it pertains to the sports world. I will have more on the specifics of exactly how these leagues plan to execute a safe way for there players to compete.
According to local sources, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association is still hopeful that is planned return for fall sports will be August 24th. This is very interesting because Governor Cuomo has already gave off the notion that professional sports will not have fans to begin their season. As a basketball coach, I know that participation is very beneficial to these athletes. As it is important to keep student-athletes involved in there communities I think it is also super beneficial and important that they also have outside participation from others. As we continue to our efforts to eradicate the covid-19 pandemic, I am hoping that Section VI has a plan in place to not only benefit the student-athlete but to also benefit those who want and need to be a supporting factor to the student-athlete.
