Buffalo Bulls Basketball
The UB Bulls will be looking to finish out the regular season on a positive note as this past week saw The Bulls lose to Ohio 80-69 on last Tuesday and to Akron this past Saturday 86-73. The Bulls will play Miami Ohio and Bowling Green to end the regular season. The Bulls could accomplish another 20 win season with two victories before they get ready for the MAC Tournament. Jayvon Graves will look to continue to be the Bulls best player if they want to be successful in March. March Madness is on the way.
Buffalo Sabres Hockey
Just when it looks like the Sabres were making a run towards turning the season around they have lost 3 straight games this past week. The Sabres this past week acquired Wayne Simmonds, who is a very good veteran that played for the Flyers and Predators. Simmonds for career averages a half a point per game with 499 points in 905 games played. The Sabres current record is 29-28-6.
The NFL combine has been quite an interesting spectacle to watch this offseason as the
wide receiver class is stacked to the max with talent. The Buffalo Bills who need a big body wide receiver should keep their eyes on Justin Jefferson or Chase Claypool who is a 6’4″ 238 pound wide receiver that ran a 4.42 in the 40 yard dash. There’s only one other player in the history of the NFL that was 6’4″ 230 lb and ran a 4.45. His name was Calvin Johnson aka “Megatron. Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane may catch a blessing as this talent could fall to them with the 22nd pick. Many believe the Buffalo Bills should have grabbed DK Metcalf good last year’s draft who had a breakout season with the Seattle Seahawks this past season. The excitement will continue as Pro Days are quickly approaching the football world. Get Ready. Many teams will be making decisions on what they want from the draft as we are two weeks away from free agency period.
Making History with Aja Smith
The WWE this week has been making history in more ways than one. Aja Smith was signed by the WWE this week making her the first African-American full-time referee in the history of the WWE. She will be refereeing matches on one of the hottest WWE brands in NXT. Aja Smith who went by the name of Aja Perera, has competed all over the US, Japan and Mexico. Aja Smith has held tag team championships along with the SHINE Nova championship during her wrestling journey. As a huge fan of NXT, I will definitely be watching NXT even more in support of Aja Smith, the 1st African American referee in WWE. Congratulations, the wrestling world can’t wait to see you on Wednesday nights.
