Buffalo Bills News
Well….well…….it looks like the New York metropolitan area was calling for emergency services on this 9/11 issue of Rise Up Right as the Buffalo Bills overcame a 16 point deficit to steal the Week 1 matchup between The Bills and the Jets 17-16. This game for the 1st 3 quarters had the look and feel of Thursday night’s 10-3 Green Bay victory over The Bears until the rookie Devin Singletary got going as he finished the game with 9 touches for 98 yards and the offense finally found a groove in the running game that didn’t even touch the ball until the 2nd quarter.
Quarterback Josh Allen finished the game with 254 yards passing and a game winning touchdown pass to John Brown to somewhat redeem himself after turning the ball over 4 times. The Bills defense proved to be stout as LeVeon Bell was held to 60 yards rushing on 17 attempts. Sam Darnold passed for 175 yards and a TD but was outplayed by Josh Allen in the second half. Bill’s defense held the Jets to 243 yards of offense.
Will the Bills defeat the other MetLife team in the New York Giants? The Giants were blown out by the Cowboys 35-17 as Dak Prescott had a perfect passer rating. Josh Allen and the Bills defense should be able to get off the ground early against this Giants defense.
