NEYSA Vets Piranhas and Butler Hill Giants Win Championship Games!

Vets Piranhas

The Buffalo Vets Piranhas a 90lb powerhouse peewee football team had a great season beating the Lancaster Mini Black 42-7 in their first round season game and demolishing the Niagara Falls Rattlesnakes 35-0 for their third round season game – all before winning the final season championship game against the Cheektowaga Thunderbirds 28-7 at Manhattan field in Buffalo’s Central Park area on Saturday October 27th. The Piranhas have successfully won a total of five championship games in the past 5 years in the NEYSA. The Vets are led by the strong leadership of head coach Ty Christopher and Coaches Dan Major, Rodney Pierce, Howard Thompson and Tehron Wilbert. Go Vets!


Hill Butler Giants

On Sunday November 4th the upstate NY Hill Butler Giants 13youth team played against the Niagara Falls Hurricanes at a field just outside of Rochester, landing the championship win 12-6 to end the AYFL (American Youth Football League) season. The team was led by the focused leadership of coaches Chris, Jermaine, Dave and James for a much deserved win in their 6-1 season. The Giants team is named after former Buffalo Bills and youth sports advocates Jerry Butler and J.D. Hill.



Vets Piranha Mascots Cheerleading Squad Makes 3rd Place In their First Competition at Fall Fest! 

On October 21 the Buffalo Vets Piranha Mascots Cheerleading squad placed 3rd in their division at the 9th Annual NEYSA Fall Fest Cheerleading Competition held at Niagara County Community College. They were the only African American team represented in their division. It was their very first time entering the Fall Fest competition, a big win for the girls and their dedicated coaching staff.


The Buffalo Vets all season training begins in January2019.
