A New Normal: A Conversation About COVID-19 with the Buffalo Association of Black Journalists

Join members of the BABJ as they discuss what’s next as Western New York learns how to navigate a new normal surrounding COVID-19 today Saturday, May 16 from 3-5 p.m. p.m. on Power 96.5 WUFO FM/WUFO Mix 1080 AM. Hear from local leaders, business owners and doctors about how testing impacts our ability to reopen, as well as how this pandemic will impact our health, wellness and wallets moving forward.

“Our members have been out front from day one, working hard to keep the community safe and informed,” said Madison Carter, president of the Association of Black Journalists. “We want to bring you those experiences and give an inside look at what’s happened from our perspective over the last two months. And this time, we’re asking our community to be a part of the conversation, as we all work to navigate what’s going to be our new normal,” concluded the WKBW Channel 7 newscaster.

The community will also have an opportunity to ask questions via social media and live call-ins to Power 96.5 FM at 716-837-1112.
