Seven Seats on Rochester School Board Up for Election This Year

This year four of the seven seats on the Rochester school board are up, and Rochester’s election is held on June 25 – which is also Primary Election Day.  The election is citywide and the seats will go to the top four vote-getters. The next board will be faced with critical decisions about the future of the district, including how to respond to a report issued by a state monitor that emphasizes governance issues.

The candidates include Ricardo Adams, Andria Bryant, Judith Davis, Howard Eagle, Clifford Florence, Anthony Hall, Robert Hoggard, Beatriz Lebron, Amy Maloy and Willa Powell
