Rams PeeWee Football Team National Champs! Honored at City Council Meeting!

The Rochester Rams Pee Wee Football Team, along with their coaches, were recognized at the Feb. 19 City Council meeting for recently winning the National Football Championship for their division at the Professional Football Hall of Fame National Championship in Canton, Ohio. 

The team was victorious with a score of 35-0. The Pee Wee squad, which consists of 17 boys and one girl, were  presented with Mayoral Certificates of Recognition and City pins 

The 18 players received a well-deserved standing ovation as they were recognized for their hard work.

“We had a lot of first-year kids. we had a girl who never played before. We had to start from the bottom. It was a trying year. We’re  really proud of the year, we started off from the bottom and worked our way to the top,” said Head Coach Terry
