Pastor’s Wives to be Honored

The New York Western First Christian Women’s Council Luncheon will honor Pastor’s Wives on Saturday, March 23 at 12 noon at Club 86 on 86 Avenue East in Geneva, New York.  Under the theme, “The Journey of a Pastor’s Wife,” dedicated wives who have served and stood by their husbands for 30-plus years will be recognized.

Honorees include: Lady Eva M. Griffin from Utica N.Y. ; Lady Tony Slack, Olean, N.Y.; Lady Effie Buie, Syracuse, NY; Mother Christine Christian, Ithaca, N.Y.; Lady Barbara Prior, Rochester, N.Y.; Mother McFadden, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mother Lauralie Roberson, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mother Dorothy Williams, Geneva, N.Y.; Mother Helen. Mt. Aaron Annual Prayer Breakfast

Please come and share with us at Mt. Aaron Baptist Church on Saturday March 23, at 9 a.m., for our annual prayer breakfast. The church is located at   540 Genesee Street where  Rev, Dwayne Jones is the pastor. There will be a full  breakfast menu, door prizes and Chinese Auction. The donation is only $10. Celebration of Reverend John T. Hilliards 47th Church Anniversary

We, the congregation of the Humboldt Parkway Baptist will celebrate Reverend John T. Hilliard’s 47th Church Anniversary on Sunday, March 17, 2019. The morning worship service speaker will be our own Reverend Jason Keith. Our celebration will culminate with a banquet at The New Golden Nugget located at 2046 Fillmore Avenue at 4:00 p.m. We invite the public to join us in celebrating the many years of dedicated service given by our beloved Pastor Reverend John T. New Hope Baptist Celebrates 82nd Anniversary

New Hope Baptist Church at 1122 Buffalo Ave. in Niagara Falls N.Y. will celebrate its 82nd Church Anniversary on Sunday, March 17.   The morning service will begin at 10:15 a.m. with special guest speaker,    Reverend Cozell Ferrell, Associate Pastor at new Hope.  At 3 p.m. the reverend Dr. James C. Blackburn, Jr. of Greater Hope Baptist Church of Buffalo, N.Y. will be the guest speaker. A Pre-Anniversary Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. with guest speaker Reverend Dewitt Doss, Interim Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Reverend Harvey L. Kelley is the host pastor.

 “Social Justice & Theology Workshop”

The Unity Fellowship Church Movement will present a “Social Justice & Theology: A Workshop” led by Senior Bishop Zachary G. Jones  for two  sessions: on  Friday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m., Out Alliance, 100  College Avenue in Rochester and Saturday, March 16 from 1-3 p.m. at Pilgrim St. Lukes UCC, 33 Richmond St. Participants will learn the basics of Bible  and social justice, with teachings  in Justice Equity, Rights, Power and Distribution. All are invited to learn how to build Social Justice and advocacy into Ministry work.

United Coalition of Churches & Brotherhood Free Monthly Breakfast

United Coalition of Churches & Brotherhood (U.C.C.B.) will be holding our free monthly fellowship breakfast Saturday March 16  from 10 a.m.-12 noon. We will be meeting at True Word Anointed Church of Jesus Christ located at 195 Schenck street North Tonawanda where Dr. Cleveland Southern serves as the Pastor. There is much to talk about as Sinclair Fabor will give an update on the N.F.T.A. discrimination and termination of several employees without just cause. Also we will discuss launching our next campaign with the selling of the toy knives & guns to our youth from the corner stores. Pastor Shemuda will be our guest speaker for the morning and praise & worship from New Alliance Assembly church from the congo.
