Since last week, The UB Men’s team (21-8) won two out of three games with wins over Bowling Green 95-82 and Ohio 108-82 and a loss between those games to Miami (OH) in a nail biter 84-81. Will the Bulls hold down the #1 spot in the MAC to end the season?
The Lady Bulls (23-4), winners of seven straight will look to finish the season with a #1 overall seed in the MAC tourney. Two games remain which team (UB, Ball State, or Central Michigan) will get that #1 seed in the MAC tourney?
In NFL news, the Buffalo Bills have signed a one year deal with veteran cornerback Vontae Davis on Monday. Davis, 29, in 120 career games over a 9 year career is a two time Pro Bowler and has started in 112 of those games in which he has recorded 395 tackles, 22 interceptions, and 106 passes defensed. This move by the Bills may put an end to the speculation of E.J Gaines not returning with the Bills as Gaines will become an unrestricted free agent on March 14. Will the veteran cornerback be an upgrade to the Bills defense who gave up 231 yards per game through the air and ranked 20th in pass defense or will he only add to this problem?
